StatMD
Last updated: June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how PharmaByMD ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects information when you use StatMD (the "Service").
We use this information to provide and maintain the Service, process payments, keep accounts secure, provide support, and improve the product.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run StatMD, and only as needed: Razorpay (payments), Google (optional sign-in), Render (hosting), Resend (transactional email), and Sentry (error monitoring). We may also disclose information where required by law.
We use a single essential, signed session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
We keep your account data while your account is active. Inactive sessions are automatically purged after about 30 days. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time.
Passwords are hashed with bcrypt, traffic is served over HTTPS, and access to data is limited. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at pharmacologybmd@gmail.com.
Some hosts turn on roll numbers / student IDs and team names so a teacher can match scores to students (the gradebook). Where this is used, the host and their institution decide what to collect and act as the data controller for that information; StatMD only processes it on the host's behalf to run the quiz and show results. Hosts are responsible for having a lawful basis and any consent required under applicable law — for example India's DPDP Act, 2023 and the GDPR for users in the EEA — and for not collecting more student data than they need. You can ask us to delete session data at any time.
Educational use only. StatMD is a teaching and assessment tool. Quiz and template content is provided for education only and is not medical advice; faculty should verify accuracy before using it in assessment.
The Service is not directed to children under 13. Participants respond anonymously and are not required to create an account.
We may update this policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date above will reflect any changes.
